Eleonora Lvov has achieved an international reputation as a piano virtuoso. Daughter of musical parents, her principal studies were with her father, the late Boris Lvov, renowned pianist and teacher at the Moscow and Stuttgart Conservatories for many years.
A winner of several international competitions, Ms. Lvov has appeared as a soloist with many major orchestras, including Berlin, Helsinki, Jerusalem, Moscow, Barcelona, Boston, Cleveland, New York, and Washington. She also has performed numerous solo recitals throughout America, Europe, and the former Soviet Union, as well as command performances for many international dignitaries, such as the president of Israel, the Prime Minister of England, and the Queen of Belgium.
Now a U.S. citizen, Ms. Lvov has continued her performing career and expanded her teaching with recitals and master classes in music schools, colleges, and universities. In the few years that she spent in Cleveland as Artist-in Residence and Head of the piano department at the Cleveland Music School Settlement and Artist-in-Residence and member of the piano faculty at Ursuline College, she gave numerous solo and orchestral performances and was hailed by the Cleveland Plain Dealer as a “flaming virtuoso” and a “musical personality who has made a considerable impact on Cleveland musical life.”
The versatile Ms. Lvov is well known for her recordings and for entertaining lecture-recitals, master classes and teaching of both young and adult pianists. She is invariably praised by conductors and audiences alike and returns repeatedly to standing ovations both here and abroad. Wherever she goes, Eleonora Lvov carries her trademark: an ardent connection to the music and an ability to convey it’s passion and emotion with staggering technique from the most demanding of Russian schools.
Ms. Lvov maintains a studio in Sarasota, Florida where she teaches students of all ages and all levels.
